Here's to Ford!

It's been 100 years, and Ford trucks are still going strong. Ford itself celebrated its centennial back in 2003, but they didn't start off making trucks—the first Ford truck rolled out of the factory in 1917. They clearly did something right; 100 years later and the Ford truck brand is still going strong.

The 2018 Ford F-150 is the best yet. The engines have been tweaked to provide even more power. The new standard engine is a 3.3-liter V6, which gives out 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Last year's standard engine was a 3.5-liter V6, and it gave 282 horsepower and 253 pound-feet of torque. Of course, Ford also knows not to mess too much with a good thing, and the available turbocharged 3.5-liter engine still gives out the impressive 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.

Ford has come a long way over the years, but they have always offered some of the finest rides around. Here's to another 100 years of Ford trucks.
