The new Ford Ranger Tremor takes what drivers in Berwick expect from the Ranger to a whole new level. With this year's model, Ford announces its most off-road-ready factory-built Ranger ever to be released in the U.S. Let's see what this new model has to offer.
How Did They Do It?
To give the Ranger its incredible all-terrain capability Ford included a lifted off-road-tuned suspension, which offers special dampers and springs to handle rough terrain and give you a smoother ride. They also included 32-inch all-terrain tires.
The Tremor has four distinct drive modes, including one just for trails. They equipped the Tremor with a steel front bash plate and underbody skid plates to help protect the vital parts. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard 4x4 with an electronic locking rear differential to help you manage any type of ground.
Still an Excellent Daily Driver
Even though the new Ranger has all this exceptional off-road capability, Ford also created a balanced truck that is still perfect as a daily driver. They included sporty exterior packages with Magnetic-painted wheels and optional body graphics to give it an exclusive look.
If your daily drive includes hauling a trailer, the Ranger is capable of a 7,500-pound towing capacity and a 1,430-pound payload. It features custom storage solutions so that you can take everything you need along for the job or some weekend fun. The interior of the Ranger Tremor has a six-switch auxiliary bank with more than 200 available dealer-installed accessories.
